Developed for and on behalf of the Sunshine Coast Council, the project initially commenced in 2016 assisting Council to negotiate a development management agreement with a leading Australian developer, however in 2017 Council elected to develop and own the proposed development.

Located in Maroochydore and consisting of 9 commercial levels, the new administration building will house over 800 staff over 5 office levels based on ‘Agile Workspace’ principals. These levels are supported by a 60 seat auditorium located on Level 1, expansive end of trip facilities on Level 2 and a substantial staff collaboration space on Level 3. The project also establishes public interfaces through a large ground floor lobby and reception as well as gallery and function spaces located on Level 9 with expansive views across the Sunshine Coast.

Completed in November 2022 and underpinned by Council’s sustainability vision, the completed project obtained 5 Star Green Star and NEBERS accreditation.
